Prior to joining AEGIS, Simon was at Atrium Syndicate for thirty years. During that time, he performed various roles including marine underwriter, head of claims and reinsurance buyer, and for the last seven years at the company, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Simon joined AEGIS in 2012, and as well as being a hull underwriter, he oversees the Specialty accounts. Simon has been on a number of Lloyd's market committees including being a previous vice-chairman of the Joint Hull Committee.
