James started his insurance career at JLT in 2000 working in cargo claims before moving over to become a Broker after 18 months, where he predominantly worked on North American stock throughput. James subsequently worked as a Cargo Broker for both FP Marine and Lockton, before joining Montpelier Syndicate as a Cargo & Specie Underwriter in 2010. During this time, he achieved his ACII qualification and joined AEGIS London in 2018 as a Cargo Underwriter.
