David joined AEGIS London in 2016 to establish and develop a new Political & Financial Risks account. David entered the insurance market in 2007, having formerly been a solicitor with the insurance law firm, Clyde & Co. Since then, he has been closely involved in the start-up of two of the leading markets in the Political Risks arena. Over that period, he has written and led-off risks across the spectrum of the class, ranging from terrorism/political violence to investment insurance by way of trade and structured credit, non-trade risk and contract frustration. He is currently a member of the LMA's Political Risk Business Panel Committee.
