Tom heads up the Digital Trading Division which includes responsibility for development of the syndicateà ¢ s Opal online quote and bind platform. Tom started his insurance career in 2002 as a P&I reinsurance broker at Jardine Lloyd Thompson before joining Markel Syndicate 3000 to pursue his career as a marine and energy liability underwriter. In 2007, Tom joined AEGIS London to underwrite the marine and energy liability portfolio before being promoted to Deputy Head of all Casualty lines. Tom is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
