James joined AEGIS permanently in August 2013, having previously worked in the AEGIS Terrorism team for 12 months as an Intern during his gap year. He took over leadership of the Terrorism/PV account as Class Underwriter in 2022 and also now sits on the Aegis Underwriting Management Team. James has a First Class Master’s (MLitt) Degree in Terrorism & Political Violence from the University of St Andrews. He is a Chartered Insurer and became a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) in 2021.
