Richard began his career in the Lloyd's market in 1986 with Janson Green. There, in addition to acquiring experience of all areas of the Syndicate's Marine and Energy accounts, he qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). Richard joined AEGIS London in 2000 and, as well as being an Offshore Energy Underwriter, he is now Head of Marine and Energy. He is an active member of the Joint Rig Committee and the LMA Marine Committee.
